This entry level Shibari panel outlines the fundamentals of rope bondage including: rope safety, (RACK: Risk-Aware Consensual Kink), sourcing equipment for success, practicing on a budget, tying technique, planning out a scene, and more.

For the hands-on portion of the panel, please bring your own rope. At least one 30 foot long piece of rope or more. Having a width size 6mm (1/4) or 8mm (5/16). 10mm (3/8) if you really want it to show on Fursuits, but 8mm (5/16) will do just fine. There will be some rope to practice with, but I don’t have enough for everyone.

Do NOT bring clothes line. Clothes line is the wrong material and super rough. For natural fiber rope please bring 3-Strand Twisted pair or synthetic Solid braided rope, such as nylon.
